A note to all of you who are visiting my site over the Christmas season: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
With only 4 days until Christmas arrives, things can get hectic. Let’s take time this season to remember the Incarnation – the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among us. It’s the life, death and resurrection of Christ that compels our mission – the Mission of God to bring His children back into relationship with Him.
I hope that your time with friends and family is prosperous; that the Love of the Father, Son and Spirit is made known in your hearts and homes.
With blessings and warmest greetings for this season,
Janelle

Today I was thinking back on Matthew 6:25-34. It’s that passage about worry – all kinds of worries that can hinder a person. You know, I remember thinking to myself one day a while back, “Oh Lord how am I going to do this?” Immediately I had to step back and realize that there was one to many ‘I’s in that sentence. That passage says that God gives all good things to and provides for the every need of His creation – the birds of the air, the lilies of the field. How much more will He provide for His children everything that they need? Good point!
This little anecdote to illustrate a point of praise in this past week. I received a very practical thing that I needed this week. The opportunity that came by was by surprise, and I was most grateful to accept it. I realized after that, that it was surely a blessing from God – one of those things spoken of in that Matthew passage – practical provision. I wanted to publicly (well as public as this blog is…) testify to the goodness of God for this little thing that happened this week.
Also, I want to be very thankful for the opportunity to travel to England this coming January to spend another week or so at the office, and to be taking part in some staff training. It’s a great opportunity, and just one more way that God is proving Himself true to me in all things, giving me favor and His best. I’m quite honored to be able to get to spend some more time there, getting to know people better, and to be taking one step closer to a permanent move there.
God is moving. He is faithful.

I want to take this brief moment to thank those of you who have been praying fervently for me, this journey I’m on, and Next Level International in general. Though it has been a month and some since my last post, I want to let you all know that God is STILL BEING FAITHFUL to His work! Even as of late, thought things are progressing at a slower pace then what I initially imagined, I am thankful – because God is still providing; people are still consecrating themselves to the cause of His Mission, and are investing themselves prayerfully, and even financially.
I have recently moved from Springdale, to a town approximately 1.5 hrs away, Lewisporte, NL. This time spent here, I know, is another step in this path – another stone upon which to step to get where God ultimately wants me to be. In all things, I am growing in faith – which when I look back to a list of things I wanted people to pray for when this process first started – was on the top of my list! God does answer prayer!
I am also glad to hear reports from the international office of churches and individuals signing up for short-term missions on the European continent. We are having more teams sign up for than we first thought would, we are moving into Western Europe with movement into Spain – so many things to be thankful for.

Prayer Requests for this point in time would certainly include the following:
* Wisdom in daily decisions.
* Favor with God and men – to continue to move along this path.
* That I would simply rest in knowing that God has everything in control; to move forward – not just further along, to keep striving for His Will.
Blessings to all of you, thank you once again.
J.
