Name: Janelle Fowlow

Position: STM/BOOST Intern with Next Level International
After coming to Christ at a young age, Janelle spent her childhood and adolescent years serving in her local church in various ways. With most of her adolescent ministry being within her own youth group, she knew from her mid-teens that there was a call to ministry upon her life.
After high school, she spent five years in four universities in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Kenya with some distance education completed in Newfoundland as well. Janelle completed a bachelor’s degree in theology (BTh) from Master’s College and Seminary (Toronto, ON, Canada), a year of this transferred from Pan Africa Christian University in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa. She graduated with this degree in April of 2007.
Janelle has also completed a certificate in FRLS Studies (French as Second Language) at Universite Sainte-Anne in Point-de l’Eglise, Nova Scotia in 2003.
While studying in Kenya, Janelle felt a call to overseas missions. While completing her BTh in 2007, she was introduced to Next Level International, and immediately after graduation flew to England for an interview for a staff position. She was successful in this interview and immediately upon returning to Canada, began fundraising, as well as beginning an Advanced Diploma in TESOL studies with Global TESOL College based out of Alberta.
In October of 2008, Janelle moved to Bedworth, England for an initial 10 month term with Next Level International. This year is a pre-cursor to a 3 year+ commitment that Janelle is pursuing to work with Next Level International at the end of this initial term.
